SOMATICS FOR POLYAM QUEERS

BECOME THE LOVER YOU WANT TO BE IN THE WORLD

AN EIGHT WEEK SOMATIC PRACTICE GROUP FILLED WITH LIKE-HEARTED QUEERS ALIGNING THEIR ACTIONS WITH THEIR VALUES

Disrupting mono-normativity is an act of cultural and political transformation made through radical love.

In a world that would like us to believe love is scarce, we proclaim abundance.

In a culture obsessed with sex and romance, we de-center the myth of “the one.” We ensure that every love is felt and flourishing — the love of our chosen family, play partners, anchors and sweeties, and the love of our dear friends, children and elders, the movement, our beyond-human kin, and ourselves.

We are here to compost old conditioning and cultivate relationships rooted in autonomy, unapologetic expression, extraordinary tenderness, deep pleasure, and true belonging. To create ways of loving that don't just change our own lives, but expand what becomes possible for everyone who comes after us.

We do this by connecting to our deepest desires, noticing stuck nervous system patterns, and learning to embody values-aligned actions in our relationships now.

We have to admit: a vision alone is not enough.
We have to embody it — on the level of our tissues and bones — for it work!

In Somatics for Polyam-Queers, we gather to dream big, lovingly acknowledge the gap between the relationships we envision and the skillset we currently have, and begin building the muscle memory to become the lovers we want to be in the world.

The transformation happens in the body first. It moves through the ways we love, choose, communicate, and care. It ripples out to touch our beloveds, communities and what we make possible together.

Imagine a future in which your beloveds feel your politics in the way that you love them.
A future in which you, too, are resourced and free to express your range and nuanced truths.

Can you taste liberation in your lifetime?

We are not simply imagining liberated love. We are learning to live it.

We don’t wait for a different world — we center into our bodyspirits and begin building one.

In Somatics for Polyam Queers, you will…

  • Develop a deeper relationship with your body's wisdom. Learn to listen and interpret sensation and feeling in your body.

  • Build your capacity to meet uncomfortable emotions with presence, so that intention can lead where defensiveness might otherwise take over.

  • Deepen your sense of inherent worth and self-regard.

  • Discover ways of loving that don't require you to disappear, abandon yourself, or run on empty.

  • Learn to offer meaningful care to those you love without depleting yourself.

  • Build relationships spacious enough for honesty, where speaking your truth doesn't have to mean risking the loss of connection.

  • Reclaim your birthright to imagine and dream. Notice the details and subtleties.

  • Cultivate futures shaped by genuine fulfillment rather than fear, scarcity, and the constant work of nervous system regulation.

A Different Kind of Practice Space

We want the whole you here. There are four core community practices that make it possible —

  • Come as you are. No pressure to perform or show up as an ideal version of yourself. Bring your tears, your rage, your fears.

  • Consent and accessibility come first. We honor our changing capacities, needs, and growing edges. Your no is sacred.

  • Practice beyond your entanglements. We learn alongside people outside our existing romantic relationships and polycules.

  • Cultivate mutual support & deep belonging. We explore our relationships with ourselves, one another, and the Land.

We want worlds where everyone is free to self-express. We don't just dream about those worlds; we practice building them together.

Our bodies, histories, identities, nervous systems, and capacities are always changing. Rather than demand consistency, we make room for the full range of human experience: joy, grief, uncertainty, overwhelm, curiosity, and everything in between.

Practicing outside our existing relationship dynamics gives us room to feel our deepest truths, experiment in confidential space, discover new possibilities, ask for what we need, and experience support with lower stakes.

Together, we cultivate curiosity, compassion, flexibility, and a deeper capacity to meet difference without needing sameness.

This isn't about learning to perform a particular way of relating. It's about practicing becoming more fully ourselves, alongside others, so that what we discover can ripple into the relationships and worlds we create.

Friends,

We need each other.

In all my years of being in community with non-monogamous and polyamorous queers, I have yet to meet someone who feels sufficiently supported in the fullness of who they are and the relationships they are building.

Not once.

That is a travesty.

You—with your vivid imagination, audacious spirit, uncontainable love, openness to complexity, and finely tuned internal compass—are not meant to be feeling hopeless, isolated, despairing, or lost. You carry so much possibility. So much creativity. So much capacity to imagine and enact ways of loving that stretch beyond what we've been taught is possible.

You are part of what the world needs more of.

And yet, so often, we are left to figure it all out on our own.

I know this because I've lived it.

I've spent around fifteen years practicing non-monogamy, most of that time without the elders, mentors, skilled support, or practice communities I desperately needed. For years, I could feel the currents of my own power swirling inside me. I knew there was something more available to me, something I was reaching toward, but I didn't yet have the support or embodied skills to meet it.

Finding the right people, practices, and mentorship changed that. It gave me places to tend the tender places, work through old patterns, expand my capacity, and experience transformation not just as an idea, but as something I could feel and practice in my body.

I began to understand that becoming the lover I wanted to be wasn't simply a matter of having the right politics, intentions, or relationship agreements. It required practice. It required healing. It required learning how to stay present, navigate complexity, honor my boundaries, meet difference, and remain connected to myself and others through the beautiful, messy realities of being human.

I want more of that for us.

I want us to have the support I spent so many years searching for. I want us to have spaces where we don't have to translate ourselves, defend our relationship structures, or pretend we've got it all figured out. Spaces where our desires, uncertainties, growing edges, and extraordinary possibilities are all welcome.

This is why I created Somatics for Polyam-Queers.

We need elders. We need peers. We need practice spaces. We need places to be messy, to be witnessed, to try something new, and to discover that we don't have to figure everything out alone.

We need each other—and that is available to us now.

I can't wait to meet you.

  • “A tender, welcoming, and exquisitely held space to deepen our understanding of how we have been shaped by our conditions, and the ways in which those shapes may no longer be aligned with our longing. Through this course, we glimpse how to meet ourselves with compassion, while also re-orienting and practising towards our visions for liberatory love. ”

  • "Eris is a gentle master of their craft, guiding complex embodied processes with apparent effortlessness, balancing depth of understanding with a lightness of touch that adds to the sense of safety and possibility for curiosity and playfulness in the space."

    Participant

  • “Eris does an incredible job setting the tone for how we are with each other in group. People don’t seem afraid or timid or like they are holding back. It feels like we know each other better than we actually do - we are able to be unguarded, honest and vulnerable.”

    Participant

  • “Somatics for Polyam-Queers has affirmed my dedication to liberatory love, including towards myself. It helped me feel less alone in my queer polyam journey, as well as more connected to my soma and to the interconnectedness of all living beings.”

    Participant

  • “It was really helpful to build connection and explore vulnerable practices together. It was beneficial to hear what others were experiencing, to see examples of how folks are navigating poly, and get to know people who also value liberatory love and are willing to work towards it.”

    Participant

  • “Somatics for PolyAm-Queers group was so supportive in shifting how I approach my relationships with loved ones, but most importantly with myself. It invited so much more lightness, play and room into something that has felt to heavy and serious in a way that kept me from actually engaging in my relationships.”

    Participant

  • “Eris embodies both groundedness & vulnerability in their facilitation style. They are adaptive and attune to the needs of the group week to week. As a neurodivergent human, I felt so much safety that I was able to show up week to week fully unmasked.”
